Basil Gin and Tonic

I went to make Slick Shoes, but cucumber soda was nowhere to be found. Close enough!

Servings: 10-12


For drink (batch):

  • 1 bottle (750ml) of cucumber gin
  • 3/4 cup of muddled basil
  • 1/2 cup St. Germain

To serve:

  • Tonic or Cucumber soda (if not using cucumber gin)
  • Lime wedge
  • Cucumber slice, for garnish


Mix ingredients, except soda and lime, in a large jar. Let sit for a day or two. Strain.

Fill pint glass or collins glass with ice. 
Add 2 oz of mixture, plus a squeeze of lime
Fill with soda or tonic and garnish with a slice of cucumber.

Variation: use tomato water ice cubes.
